I started diving over 20 years ago and have been fortunate to explore incredible locations around the world. Every dive still feels like a brand-new adventure - but I couldn't help noticing the inefficiencies in how dive centers operate, and how divers connect with both centers and each other.
Over time, I found myself constantly asking how things could be done better. That curiosity led me to bridge the gap between the diving industry and modern technology.
My name is Yoav Hirshberg, I'm a PADI instructor and a professional software engineer. The ocean has been a defining part of my life for as long as I can remember, always leaving a positive mark on me. I believe it's the same for many others, and I want to make it easier for everyone to experience its magic, while helping the diving industry thrive.

As both a PADI instructor and a professional software engineer, I’ve lived these challenges firsthand across dive centers worldwide. That’s why DiveMaster is built from within the diving community, for the diving community.
